Elizabethan Costume

This is my serious brag page. After hours of effort and even more hours stressing out about it, I finally finished my Elizabethan gown. I began with the Simplicity pattern #0679 (also 8881,) but I ended up modifying the sleeves, adding an oversleeve, and seriously modifying the bodice to fit my annoying figure.

For my daughters, I made what I call "pseudo-Elizabethan" dresses. These are based on pattern #7916, with the addition of an "underskirt" panel and puff-n-slash sleeves. One of my daughters is behind me in the above picture.
