Little Coathardie | |
This is a coathardie I made for my third daughter. I took the bodice portion of a commercial pattern of a dress which I knew fit her, then altered it to be more form-fitting, longer, with long sleeves, and with Velcro closures in the back, rather than a zipper. (I know, I know. Velcro isn't exactly period, but it sure is practical!) I am pleased with the way it turned out, although I know she will outgrow it in no time . . . (In case your computer is showing the images rather dark, the colors are a dark red and a grey . . .) | |
